Ethifarm Manufacturing Plant started its operations in October 2012. In July 2013 it became GMP certified.

Essentially, the focus remains on manufacturing Ethifarm’s own medicinal products but contract manufacturing for third parties becomes an increasingly important part of Ethifarm business.

The technologies applied at the site include :

• Wet granulation
• Direct tabletting
• Tablet Coating ( water and alcohol-based )
• Sachetting ( fine powder and granulates )
• Encapsulation ( hard gelatine capsules – size from 2 to # 00 )
